Grief is not infinite

Leslie's story is one of true beauty. Rooted in the realism of her life + the beauty + obstacles that surround it. Her husband suffered a massive stroke and Leslie began documenting his road to recovery discovering a long the way her rekindled creative spirit that she captures in her collection of ephemera style work.

Our goal was to create a brand identity that would grow with her collection of work, sharp lettering + elongating her name creates an unworldly slightly unsettling feeling, which is representative of her work + her emotions surrounding her art.

For Leslie’s website it was important to have her site speak directly to gallerists who would be studying her work, while creating the feeling of a virtual gallery. Presenting her art in a similar manner virtually as you would view in real life helps to set the atmosphere and exploratory nature of her site.

We wanted to ensure a connection that flowed beautifully between brand and art. Leaving behind a remarkable impression to each visitor.

Parallel Lives: Video Series

An important component to add to Leslie’s website was a unique way to present her story, the meaning and purpose behind her work. We visualized this playing as visual art piece within her gallery. It needed to feel organic and authentic, a culmination of the raw beauty that envelopes her husband’s story and the connection through her art.
